VOLUNTEER COMMITTEES
FOOD SERVICES
Help us share hospitality in a tangible way by serving thousands of guests during the Washington County Prayer Gathering. Volunteers on the Food Services Team will assist with preparing, organizing, serving, and distributing complimentary meals to attendees, as well as helping keep the serving area clean and well-stocked. Whether you're behind the serving line or helping with food preparation, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for everyone who attends. No professional food service experience is required—just a servant's heart and a willingness to help feed our community.
HOSPITALITY
THIS COMMITTEE IS NOW FULL.
The Hospitality Team helps create a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment guests arrive. Volunteers will assist speakers, youth groups, non-profits, musicians, pastors, special guests, and fellow volunteers by helping with refreshments, answering questions, providing directions, and ensuring everyone feels cared for throughout the day. If you enjoy serving others, making people feel at home, and paying attention to the little details that make a big difference, the Hospitality Team is a wonderful place to serve.
OPERATIONS
The Operations Team works behind the scenes to keep the Washington County Prayer Gathering running smoothly from start to finish. Volunteers will assist with event setup and teardown, moving tables and chairs, placing signage, parking, stocking supplies, monitoring event spaces, and responding to needs as they arise throughout the day. If you enjoy solving problems, staying active, and jumping in wherever help is needed, the Operations Team is a great fit. Your flexibility and willingness to serve will help ensure every aspect of the event is ready for guests and runs seamlessly.
OUTREACH
THIS COMMITTEE IS NOW FULL.
The Outreach Team serves as the hands and feet of the Washington County Prayer Gathering long before event day. Volunteers will visit local churches, meet with pastors and ministry leaders, distribute promotional materials, invite individuals and families to attend, and help build excitement throughout the community. If you enjoy meeting new people, sharing a vision, and encouraging others to get involved, this team offers a meaningful opportunity to help unite Washington County around prayer. Your efforts will play a vital role in ensuring churches and community members know they are invited and welcome.
