We must live for God and his will in our lives. This flesh is temporary. Eternity with him is more important than the things of this world. Temporary earthly pleasures are not worth sacrificing an eternity with God. Our time on this earth is like a vapor or a mist compared to the eternity that will follow this life.

In addition to repentance in Jesus' name, the bible makes it clear that we should be baptized as well. Not to be confused with being Christened as a baby, but making a conscious decision of faith to be baptized.
